Raised on the Gulf Coast Meagan was surrounded by sea and surf. In 2008, Meagan traveled north to Houston, where she started her career in River Oaks. She focused on balayage, highlights, and all the different blonding techniques she could get her hands on. Her expertise in blonding gave her the extensive clientele she has to date. Meagan believes every client, and stylist alike deserves to come to a salon where they’re treated authentically. When she purchased SalonTrose in 2022 her goal was to create a safe space for ALL.
With complete transparency, honesty and respect for her stylists; their futures, goals and accomplishments are her #1 priority.

Emily Tate

Emily began doing hair in 2016, when she moved to Houston from her hometown of Galveston. She has a soft spot for balayage but excels at a range of colors and styles, including hand-tied extensions. Her chair is a safe space for all! Emily became salon manager in 2023 alongside her three year anniversary at SalonTrose. When she is not hustling at the salon, she enjoys being at home with her dogs and shopping at Target
(who doesn’t?).

Amanda kicked off her hair career in 2000. Since then she has advanced her education at the Goldwell Academy and Bumble and Bumble University. Over the years Amanda has taught color and been a mentor to newer stylists in the industry. She is an all around stylist who loves doing color and short cuts and has the loyal clientele to prove it. Amanda has a huge love for animals and especially loves spending time with her own fur babies. She rents her own chair and runs her business, but enjoys educating the SalonTrose stylists any time she can, boss babe!

Joie joined our salon in August 2021, right out of Paul Mitchell The School. She specializes in blondes and lived in color. If you think you’re seeing double, you’re not! Her identical twin sister Gina also works at SalonTrose! Joie is also Bellami extension certified, as well as a Goldwell Master colorist! When she’s not at work she loves to crochet, play with her 5 dogs and hangout with her niece Layla.

Hailey joined our salon in August 2021, fresh out of Paul Mitchell the School in her hometown of Houston. She started off as an assistant and quickly progressed to a full-time stylist in only six months! When she’s not at work, she enjoys doing DIY projects and hanging with her hubby and cats, Little Tiny and Mocha Bean.

Joanna started her hair career in 2019, she studied at Paul Mitchell the School of Houston.
She is a well rounded stylist with natural capability. She specializes in curly hair, and enjoys doing “lived-in” haircuts. Joanna has skills in all different areas, from blondes, to haircutting, formal styling, to Brazilian blowouts and short haircuts. In her free time. Joanna likes to do canvas art, discover new music, and spend time with her friends.
